Nav Sanchar Communication Centre is a branch of Nav Sadhana Regional Pastoral Center established in order to coordinate the media and communication works of the Region. Though it had its small beginning; today it is well-equipped wing of Nav Sadhana. The present building with all its furnishing was inaugurated and blessed by Rt. Rev. Fredrick D’ Souza, Bishop of Jhansi. It was well guided and inspired by the former chairman Rt. Rev. Patrick D’ Souza the Former bishop of Varanasi.
With the guidance of the present chairman Bishop Raphy Manjaly the department is regular in its productions and training programmes to communicate the Gospel and social values in the Region where a still a great percentage of people are illiterate marginalized and poor, to whom still television and print media does not make much sense. Therefore, the Center aims at low-cost media to reach out the least in the society.
The Center has a well-established studio for audio-video recording and editing. The sound recording studio is lately updated with latest software & upgraded with the facilities to give a professional touch in this era of modern communication. The team at the Centre constantly makes efforts to expand its work to meet the needs of pastoral, evangelical and catechetical programmes of the Church in North India. It also imparts social values to bring social justice and peace in this unjust society by giving media trainings for people of all age groups and all walks of life especially the social work animators, village school teachers and people those who are involved in developmental activities. The stall at the centre is a special attraction for many. It has the latest productions both audio videos and publications like: Hindi Bible (Translation of Walde Bulke), Jubilee edition Bible in Hindi, Ish Vandana, Hindi Hymns for liturgy, Breviary- Dainik Prathana (Hindi) and many other books especially in Hindi, the local language of the people.
