Nav Sadhana hosted the Annual General Body Meeting of Catholic Health Association of India, convened by the Director General of CHAI Rev. Dr. Tomi Thomas, IMS to discuss and to deliberate on the theme HEALTH INSURANCE from Oct. 5 to 6, 2011. It was inaugurated in the presence of Most Rev. Vincent M. Concessao, Archbishop of Delhi and Ecclesiastical Advisor to CHAI, Most Rev. Dr. Raphy Manjaly, the local Ordinary and Sr. Cletus Daisy, JMJ, President, CHAI. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Ratnesh, Programme Analyst, UNDP, New Delhi and the inaugural address by Dr. Gajendra Singh, Professor, IIMS, BHU, Varanasi. It was well attended by the members of CHAI. They were all together 450 in number. The deliberation was well appreciated and the feasibility is to be yet worked out. There was a colourful, cultural programme presented by Nav Sadhana Kala Kendra College of Music and Dance under the guidance of Rev.Dr.Paul D’Souza, Director and Principal, Fr.Joseph and Sr. Vimala, FMM, Cultural Incharges. The thrilling, inspiring performance by the students of Kala Kendra gave the participants the message of need of doing everything in love and compassion in human life and for good health. All enjoyed the event, which gave them relaxation too at the end of the hectic day.
