ASSOCIATION OF CATHOLIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN U.P. AND U.K. Sept. 18 – 19, 2013

The 28th Annual General Body Meeting of Association of Catholic Education Institutions in U.P. and U.K. was organized by Most Rev. Gerald John Mathias, President and Sr.Patricia, UMI, Executive Secretary of the Association at Nav Sadhana from Sept. 18 to 19, 2013. The theme of the seminar was Blended Learning – Role of Technology in Education, Mental Health, Life Skill Education, New Age Parenting. On the first day the Resource Persons were Dr. Jitendra Nagpal, who enlightened on the Role of Technology in Education and Miss Jyotsana Bajpai, on Mental Health, Life Skill Education and New Age Parenting. Miss Jyotsana stated that in the relationship between parents and children there should be practice of ABCR, which stands for Acceptance, Boundary, Communication and Reassurance. On the second day Mr. R.P. Pandey spoke on RTI and Mr.Raja Reddy, on National Institute of Open Schooling. In the inaugural session Most \Rev.Raphy Manjaly emphasized importance of value and moral education in the schools, i.e. spirituality in life and Most Rev.Gerald John Mathias stressed on the Character and Conscience formation of students to have a better society and nation. In the evening of Sept. 18, 2013 the budding artists of Nav Sadhana Kala Kendra had put up a scintillating and enthralling cultural programme of music and dance guided by Mr. Robin A, Dr.B.Tiwari and Sir Govind Verma. Dr.Fr.V.Sebastian, Principal and Director of Nav Sadhana welcomed the august audience. The programme was anchored by Dr.Ramsudhar Singh.
