The All India Catholic Union, a lay body representing the Catholics of India held its quarterly Working Committee meeting at NavSadhana Regional Pastoral Centre on March 23-24, 2019. Delegates from all over India attended the meeting. There were 32 delegates from all over India and 10 local delegates took part in this important meeting. The Meeting commenced with the Holy Eucharist celebrated by Most Rev. Eugene Joseph, Bishop of Varanasi and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Wilfred Moras, Director of NavSadhana.
Thereafter the inaugural ceremony was held in Nav Sanchar hall. Mr. LancyD’Cunha, the National President welcomed the gathering. Dr. John Dayal, senior Journalist also attended the AICU Meeting. In the evening interactive session was held wherein the delegates shared their hardships and difficulties in the field of mission.
On 24th March, the AICU delegates went for Varanasi Darshan and visited some of the important places of the Holy City of Varanasi. The delegates expressed their gratitude to the Director and his team for the wonderful hospitality and beautiful arrangements. The AICU team expressed their gratefulness to Mr. Ronald Nadra and his team for taking the trouble to look after the arrangements for the smooth running of this meeting.
