The Electronic Key-Board Course was conducted in NavSadhana from June 06-28, 2019. It was primarily aimed at the school children and parishioners to improve their skill in liturgical singing and entertainment. The Resource Person was Ms. Nitya Marie Helen, Western Music instructor. She has an experience of training children and youth in classical Piano, modern keyboard and plectrum Guitar. She has also conducted Western, Classical and Choral singing.
The participants were happy to learn about the black notes, scale, chords as well as keyboard functions. The individual attention given by the teacher was highly appreciated. They were able to play the chords for the liturgical singing by arduous practice a week after the starting the course. It gave impetus to learn further and experienced elixir in life. The classes were held during the day and the personal practice went on till 10.00 p.m. every day. Their weekly performance on the stage elevated their spirit and mind and body to improve their skills further with their diligence and dedication. The course came to an end with mellifluous music and creative skits on June 27, 2019.
