The meeting of the local unit of CRI was held at NavSadhana, on 14th and 15th September 2019. It began with a prayer service conducted by Sr. Sanjeeta SRA. The President Sr. Meena formally welcomed one and all. Sr. Meena introduced the resource person Rev. Fr. Stephen Msfs who highlighted the theme “Responsibility to society and challenges to Mission.”
In the second session, Fr. Anand IMS led the participants through his erudite and inspirational talk, to understand the Indian socio-political context and the challenges faced currently and those which will be faced in future by the missionaries and our response to these challenges. Fr. BijuVadakkel, Provincial Superior of CMI and the Regional President of CRI explained the importance of CRI and also highlighted the responsibility of the CRI Body. After tea break, the participants were divided into three groups and discussed four questions given by Rev. Fr. Benedict MSFS, the newly elected President for reflection and action plan. The group discussion was participatory and lively. Each group presented their reports in the third session after lunch. Based on the group reports, four major points were suggested for the action plan
