The fire within each person is the fire that transforms even the toughest, the fire that overcomes suffering and persecution, the unchanging fire that will shine the light of Christ brightly. The gift of the Holy Spirit indeed brings transformation to the receiver, each person must let go of vanities, pride and personal plans and allow the grace of God to work in his life, to and in turn be the bearer of the gift. The priests and religious must allow the spirit to work in them so that they can form, re-form and transform their commitments and live always for God and his people.
NavSadhana organized a special retreat meant for both men and women religious and diocesan priests from October 13-18, 2019. Most Rev. Francis Kalist, Bishop of Meerut who is a well-known preacher, formator and a person filled with the spirit of God conducted this retreat. The theme of the retreat was: “TO BE REKINDLED IN THE SPIRIT TO LIVE FOR GOD AND HIS PEOPLE”. This retreat really helped the priests & religious to become aware of the blocks and rekindle the spirit of God in order to be effective in their ministries.
The participants articulated that the retreat was indeed excellent, enriching, instilling, provoking, challenging, inspiring, interesting, participative, practical, personal, effective, creative, lively, solid, well arranged and well explained the consecrated life. His personal guidance and involvement were well extolled. The participants were happy about the accommodation, hospitality, amity and comity. The campus cleanliness and serenity helped them to pray better.
