Nav Sadhana hosted a seminar organized by Rev. D. Chellappa, National Coordinator, ECC, and a member of Evangelical Church of India (ECI), Bangalore from March 6 to 10, 2012. ECC has the primary concern to bring spiritual growth and social development of the people of India. In order to train and equip the Church leaders and elders, ECC conducted training programmes in different locations; one of them in Nav Sadhana, Varanasi. Full time ministers and part-time workers who are interested in the ministry were invited to attend this training programme.
ECC conducted the VCP training cum workshop at Nav Sadhana from March 6 to 7, 2012. There were 40 delegates from Uttar Pradesh, Orissa and Maharastra, who attended the VCP training or workshop. This training aimed at basically the Christian workers who are working in the villages.
ECC also conducted T & M training cum workshop from March 8 to 10, 2012. There were 52 delegates from West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar and Jharkhand. It was the training for the Christian workers who are working in the cities and urban areas of India. There were 4 resource persons. All together there were 96 persons in two phases of training programme.
Every one enjoyed their stay at Nav Sadhana and appreciated all the staff of Nav Sadhana for the good hospitality and cordiality, friendship and fellowship. Rev. D. Chellappa expressed his sincere thanks to the Director, Programme Coordinator, office staff and all the workers in the kitchen and in the campus of Nav Sadhana for the generous service and homely atmosphere provided to him and the participants.
