NORTH INDIAN WRITERS SAMMELAN 2012

Nav Sadhana hosted North Indian Writers Sammelan 2012 conducted by Catholic Hindi Sahitya Samiti under the patronage of Hindi Literature Commission of Catholic Bishops of India from Aug. 19 to 20, 2012. It was attended by 32 participants from various parts of India such as U.P., Rajasthan, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and West Bengal states. It was well organized by Mr. Francis Joseph, Co-secretary and presided over by Most Rev. Isidore Fernandes, Bishop of Allahabad. Most Rev. Raphy Manjaly, Bishop of Varanasi offered Eucharist and attended the sessions on Aug. 20, 2012. The participants shared their views and the method of promotion of Hindi Literature and Journalism. There was a talk on the Use of Communication Skills in Hindi Writing by Rev. Fr. Anand, IMS, Secretary. Rev.Fr. Babu Joseph, SVD and Rev.Fr. Dominic, SVD, were special invitees to the sammelan.
