The Executive Secretary (Fr.Bhaskar of Agra) of the Organizing Committee of the Regional Faith Festival invited the students of Nav Sadhana Kala Kendra to perform dance drama at Agra based on Faith on Oct. 13, 2013. We, Director/Principal, Staff and Students accepted the invitation with delight and joy to instill faith in people through dance. The dance drama was inspired by Director, Dr.Fr.V.Sebastian, guided by Fr.Justy and choreographed, directed by Sir Robin A. It was based on THE CANAANITE WOMAN’S FAITH, HEALING and CASTING OF DEMON FROM HER DAUGHTER (Mt. 15, 21-28). It was followed by a dance rejoicing and praising God for his marvelous deeds and mighty works. The audience was spell bound by the enthralling performance of the Kala Kendra budding artists and had accolade for their perfection and beauty, melody and music of the item.
Later the students with the staff visited the Taj Mahal, a monument of love of the Emperor Shah Jahan towards Queen Mumtaj; its beauty and brightness is indescribable and exotic. The student-artists were Sr.Agnes, AC., Miss Preeti Masih, Miss Sandhya Tirkey, Miss Alphonsa, Miss Amita Raj, Miss Jeyalaksmi, Miss Pramila Nag, Miss Shivali, Miss Neha Keshari, Miss Shweta Paul, Miss Damini and Miss Sheeba; They admired grandeur of design and architecture of the Taj Mahal The Director expressed his gratitude to them for their modest behavior, sacrificial love, magnanimous generosity, co-operative spirit, diligent performance with peaceful mind.
