EASTER PREPARATION FOR THE CLERGY
March 25-26, 2015
Experience God’s love, as the beloved of the Lord and surrender to Him, stated Rev.Fr. Pius Sebastian Thekemury, SJ, Atmadarshan, Patna, in the beginning of the meditation and reflection conducted on March 25, 2015 for the priests gathered at Nav Sadhana to prepare for the Chrism Mass and Easter Celebration. He further continued to share his reflection on Eucharist stating that the surrender to the Lord would lead to inner freedom from bondage and for following the Lord Jesus Christ; It entails forming community, continuing His mission and ministry; To live an authentic life of a Christian as we find in the Eucharist we need to take or choose life, bless and be blessed in life, break our life and give life to others. It necessitates to have profound sense of gratitude to God and to humans and relive, experience in silence and solitude the ABBA and His Kingdom. He said, “The life of the beloved starts by trusting that we are chosen in our uniqueness, individuality that we are precious in God’s eyes; the quality of the life of the beloved is that we are blessed and experience our brokenness and live communion with God to get life and to give life to humans.” The following day Mr. Anto Akkara, jouranalist, shared his life experience and the experience of the Kandhamal Christians how they had faced martyrdom as disciples of the Lord Jesus and bore witness to Him at the time of persecution created by fanatic religious groups operated in Khandamal, Orissa. The meeting was organized by Msgr. Eugene J., Administrator of the diocese of Varanasi.
